November 5, 2000 - - We haven't been keeping this page up to date, but the other pages have been updated throughout the last year. Just today we updated Shopping, Arts, Homes, Sports, Electronic Media, Professional Services, and Other Services. If you have a firm in Klamath or Lake County Oregon with a web presence, be sure to e-mail your address to webmaster@sobusi.com, so that it can be included here. No cost - no obligation. If you don't have a website and want one, go to our "Media - Electronic" page (from the "Pull Down Community Index") and select from the service and content providers listed there. No decision yet on a domain name for this site and no more funding has been found. The site is currently being maintained as a public service by your webmaster.

September 10, 1999 - - The financing has been found and this site will be fully maintained at least through June of 2000. InternetCDS has kindly offered to fund the hosting of our new domain when a decision is made on the domain name. Got an idea for a domain name? As of today, most of the site has been updated so the pages load more quickly. Plus, the header has been updated with the addition of the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce logo. We'll add a logo for the Lake County Chamber as soon as they get one. Links from the header graphic go to both Chambers and to the South Central Oregon Telecommunications Consortium home page. Those are the kind people who made this site possible. We've also been adding links to businesses and organizations as we find them. If you have a link that belongs here, e-mail the URL to webmaster@sobusi.com. It will be posted, usually within a few days, and there is no charge.

June 29, 1999 - - We experimented with a lot of different sorts of rollover effects on the home page. Because there are 30 or so hot spots on the graphic, the pop-up effects we wanted took way too long to load - for those of you with older modems. We finally used the status line at the bottom of your browser to tell you what the hot spots are about. That completes the initial layout and design of the site. Arrangements are now being made to insure that this site, and others on the sobusi.com domain will be maintained and enhanced over the next year. Note that the Consortium has recommended that this site be moved to its own domain. When that happens, you will be referred to the new address. As you will see, the links are still sparse on some of these pages. If you have a link that belongs here, e-mail the URL to webmaster@sobusi.com.
